Panera Bread removes charged lemonade from menu

(CNN)– Panera Bread is eliminating charged lemonade from its menu.

The caffeinated beverage has sparked multiple lawsuits and caused a public relations nightmare for the company.

According to Bloomberg, the charged lemonades will come off the menu in the next two weeks.

Panera has faced at least three lawsuits over the lineup of controversial drinks in the recent months.

Plaintiffs claim high levels of caffeine in the product led to the deaths of two customers irreversible health complications in another.

The charged lemonades lineup was introduced in 2022.
