BISHOPVILLE, S.C. (WOLO)– A Bishopville lottery player is taking some time off to travel after winning $300,000, says SC Lottery officials.
The lottery winner bought the ticket from the One Stop Shop on the Sumter Highway in Bishopville.
“Luck was on my side. I’m going to enjoy it,” the winner told South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
The winner says he took the ticket home to scratch and could not contain his emotions when he realized a six-figure payday was his.
“I was jumping up and down. It’s a lot of excitement,” he says.
And he says he plans to keep on playing. “I’m not done yet,” he says.
One more top prize of $300,000 remains in X The Money game at odds of 1 in 840,000.
