Steel Hands Brewing hosts Steel Paws Celebration

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– It was a big weekend to benefit local K9s.

Steel Hands Brewing hosted the Steel Paws Celebration on Saturday.

It was a free event featuring therapy dog yoga, a K9 meet and greet and much more.

Cayce Police Officer Drew Barr lost his life days before the first Steel Paws.

His family was there this weekend to celebrate and honor his life.

Event organizers told ABC Columbia how the event helps K9 programs.

Also, the Cayce Police Department announced their newest K9, KOA, a 15-month-old Dutch Shepherd.
