Lexington County law enforcement officers to honor those who died in line of duty
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County law enforcement will honor those who dies in the line of duty on Thursday, May 16.
The memorial service starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Law Enforcement Monument on East Main Street.
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says this annual event is one way to honor all officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
And if you drive down Main Street in Lexington, you’ll see blue line banners hanging in support of National Police Week thanks to the Lexington Women’s Club, who provides them each year.
