St. Pat’s in Five Points hosts charitable check donation

Columbia, SC (WOLO) —  It’s the 42nd season and this year St. Pat’s in Five Points held a charitable check donation breaking records with a whopping $67,100 dollar donation. The annual event helped 40 Midlands charities and non profits.

Heather McDonald, executive director of the Five Points Association released a short statement about what it means to be able to support these organizations each year saying in part,

“Not only does this festival bring our community together, but to be able to donate to so many
deserving charities every year, is truly something special,” s. “It is an honor to have donated more than $1.2 million dollars
over the festival’s history, with this year being our largest donation amount to date, and we could not
be happier.”

The Five Points Association says the total contributions of the festival exceed $1.2 million throughout the history of the event.
