New consumer law mandates clear pricing for cruise lines
(CNN)– Cruise prices are about to get a little more transparent.
Starting on July 1st, a number of cruise lines will start to include the extra costs on it’s pricing including port expenses, taxes and other fees.
The move comes after a new California law made fully transparent pricing mandatory.
However Carnival says it will make the change nationwide.
Other companies participating include Royal Caribbean International and Princess Cruises.
