COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on the action to amend the 2024-2025 Pavement Improvement Program.

SCDOT will receive public comment for a 21-day period from May 16, through June 6, 2024.

Department of Transportation officials say the additional 727+ miles of paving projects contained in the 2024-2025 Pavement Improvement Program will be added to the previously approved 7,047+ miles of paving projects advanced since the implementation of Act 40 of 2017 and incorporated into the “New Gas Tax Trust Fund” transparency and accountability reports.
