COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— A lucky winner in the Midlands is now $10,000 richer, says SC Lottery officials.

Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Irmo at Ballentine C Mart at 1500 Dutch Fork Road should check their tickets because a customer won $10,000 in Friday night’s drawing.

The winning ticket matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number to win the $10,000 prize.

8 – 17 – 40 – 60 – 70    Megaball: 3

SC Lottery officials say more than 10,000 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $2 up to $10,000.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

The odds of matching four white ball numbers and the Megaball® number are 1 in 931,001.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday is an estimated $421 million.
