Local Living: Free Summer admission at CMA, Jazz Al Fresco Concert, Iris Festival

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)–In today’s look at Local Living, the Columbia Museum of Art is offering free admission this Summer.
The new program offers all residents of South Carolina the chance to get free general admission to the museum from May 24, through September 1.
Funding was provided by art bridges foundation’s access for all program.
The free Summer at CMA kicks off this Friday.
You can celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month with a free lunchtime concert at CMA this Wednesday.
The Jazz Al Fresco Concert starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Boyd Plaza.
Mark App of the Cola Jazz Foundation will play alongside a group of musicians to serenade you while you enjoy some food.
Seating is limited so feel free to bring a chair.
The City of Sumter is having their annual Iris Festival this weekend.
The festival includes concerts, arts and crafts, classic AR shows and more.
The fun begins this Thursday with the “Taste of the Gardens” opening ceremony and continues until Sunday.
It all takes place at the Swan Lake Iris Gardens.
