Free 2 day healthcare clinic going to Sumter
SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter has free medical services heading its way next month.
On July 12 and July 13, the pop up clinic will be at Kingsbury Road Church of Christ.
“Remote Area Medical” has announced a two day clinic that will offer free dental, vision and medical services.
According to Brad Sands with the nonprofit, they were contacted by community leaders who saw a need for medical services for individuals who do not have the means to get to a doctor or simply cannot afford one.
The nonprofit is now seeking local medical, dental, vision professionals, interpreters and the general public to volunteer for Sumter’s clinic.
