Local Living: Drift Jam, SC EMS Association hosting Family Fun Day, Fire department hosting free Community Open House

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, get ready to join the world’s largest floating music festival for the last time.
The Drift Jam kicks off next Saturday, June 1st at 11 a.m. on Spence Island at Lake Murray.
Join thousands of boats on the water for some live music from artists like Prettier Than Matt, A Thousand Horses, and much more.
ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan will be hosting the event.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of National EMS week, the South Carolina EMS Association is hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday.
It starts at 11:30 a.m. at the state fairgrounds.
There will be food trucks, a live concert featuring Musician Corey Smith, a silent auction and more.
The event raises funds towards EMS education. General admission is $15.
The Columbia-Richland Fire Department is hosting a free Community Open House next month.
The event will feature games, food and more.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a gift donation for a teen living with Sickle Cell Anemia.
It takes place on Friday, June 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Columbia Fire Department.
