Missing man returns home, say deputies

Christopher Cox was reported as missing on Wednesday, May 22, after he did not return home for several days.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies say they are searching for man who has not returned home for several days.

Christopher Cox was reported as missing on Wednesday, May 22, after he did not return home for several days.

The authorities say Cox was last seen leaving his home on Cotton Acres Road on Sunday, May 19, in a 2006 Gray Toyota Tundra (SC Tag: UMG175).

He was supposed to be going to a gas station in Dalzell but never returned home.

The sheriff’s office says the truck was last seen on Sunday around  7:55 a.m. in the vicinity of Alice Drive.

Cox takes blood thinners and hypertension medication.
