Local Living: Brick Fest Live, Rose Leaf Foundation’s Race to Thrive 5k and Fun Run, Friday Night Laser Nights

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, if you love legos then this is the event for you.
The Brick Fest Live event is this Saturday at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. at the state fairgrounds.
You and the family can see life size models, take part in building a Guinness Word Record setting mosaic and much more.
Rose Leaf Foundation’s Race to Thrive 5k and Fun Run starts this Saturday.
The 5K run starts at 8 a.m. and the youth fun run starts at 8:45 a.m. at Saluda Shoals Park.
The event raises funds to help young adults who have ages out of the foster care system.
It’s $30 for adults and $15 for kids.
Friday Night Laser Nights return to the state museum this Summer.
The first laser light show is on June 21 and will feature music from The Eagles, Elton John, The Beatles and Fleetwood Mac.
There will be food from local food trucks and a cash bar.
Tickets are $10 for members and $12 for the general public.
