Walmart ends Capital One card deal

(CNN)– Capital One and Walmart are calling it quits.

Both companies have announced their deal that made capital one the exclusive issuer of Walmart consumer credit cards has ended.

The partnership started in 2019. Despite the divorce, nothing changes for customers who can still use those cards to earn and redeem rewards.

And the rewards that were already accrued are still valid. Capital One is retaining ownership of the accounts.

Walmart will give more information of card holders over the next few months.
