Chuck E. Cheese animatronic band staying in some locations

(CNN)– Good news for anyone heartbroken at Chuck E. Cheese’s decision to largely retire its animatronic bands.

While the band at the pizza-and-arcade chain is still going away in most places, the company recently said it will remain at 3 more stores.

This week, the company said Munch’s make believe band will stay in Springfield, Illinois, Hicksville, New York and Charlotte, North Carolina.

This week’s announcement makes a total of 5 locations where kids and nostalgic adults can enjoy the animatronic players.
