RCSD investigating late night home invasion, say deputies

 

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are investigating a late night home invasion that happened on last Friday, said deputies.

Law enforcement said around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 24, deputies responded to the 200 block of Moss Field Road in reference to a home invasion.

When deputies arrived to the home, they discovered that three suspects wearing masks had entered the home through a window and confronted the victims with a firearm.

The suspects demanded money and took several personal items from the home.

Investigators said the three suspects are described as African American men. One light skinned with a slender build, approximately 5’ 10”; one dark skinned with short dreads wearing a camouflaged jacket, approximately 5’ 08”; and a another dark skinned with a heavy build, approximately 5’ 08”.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identities of the suspects should call 911 or submit a tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.

 The case is still under investigation by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
