SC lawmakers return to Columbia
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The legislative session may have ended but South Carolina lawmakers are back in Columbia.
Conference committee meetings are just the start of what will be a busy June ahead of the House and Senate.
Committees have been meeting in the Gressette Building to iron out differences between the House and Senate versions of various bills.
One of those committees is the Joint Bond Review Committee.
Democrat Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter from Orangeburg told ABC Columbia what’s been accomplished so far.
Lawmakers will return next Wednesday to the State House to elect a new state supreme court justice.
