Grab your running shoes for the Race to Thrive 5K Saturday at Saluda Shoals Park

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Get ready to lace up your running shoes to help benefit the lives of former foster youth this weekend!

The Rose Leaf Foundation’s 5K & Youth Fun Run starts this Saturday at Saluda Shoals Park.

Check-In starts at 7 a.m. The 5K race starts at 8 a.m. and the Youth Fun Run starts at 8:45 a.m.

Curtis spoke with Chanell Clyburn, a board member of the Rose Leaf Foundation, about how this event will benefit various programs and services that empower former foster youth to thrive as they transition into independence.

It’s $30 to register for the 5K and $15 for the Youth Fun Run.
