COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The Mega Millions has been heating up and tonight is no difference.
Tonight the Mega Millions draw for $522 million. Lotto players have until one hour before the drawing at 11 p.m. to buy a $2 ticket.
According to SC Lottery officials, Friday’s jackpot ties the game’s 12th largest prize and has been growing since it was last won on March 26 for $1.1 billion.
Officials also say, this is the second time since last summer that the jackpot has exceeded half-a-billion dollars.
