Irmo fire destroys Zephyr Street home, say firefighters

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– No one is hurt after a house fire in Irmo yesterday morning, said Irmo Fire District.

Irmo firefighters say they responded to the 200 block of Zephyr Street and had to contend with a melted gas meter and a gas leak.

Although the fire was extinguished, it destroyed the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation, said Irmo Fire District.
