Pet of the Week: Norman!

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- Meet Norman! Norman is not just a hound dog! He’s an Olympic gold medalist and #1 Good Boy looking for his forever home, for real this time.

Sweet Norman was found as a stray in bad condition. Shelter staff say he was very weak, thin, lethargic, and had a piece of a chewed rope hanging from his collar. His collar even had his owner’s name and phone number on it. Sadly, Norman’s owner had no interest in getting his dog back, and how Norman’s found himself waiting for a new family at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Norman is about 4-years-old and is a total goofball! He is still learning basic commands, but knows how to sit, and is very treat-motivated. Because he is a hound, Norman would love a home with a fenced in backyard to explore and sniff, or a family to take him on long walks and adventures! Shelter staff say Norman was temporarily in a foster home and did great. He would do well with other mild-mannered dogs.
