TD Bank robbery suspect arrested in Richland Co.

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Sheriff Leon Lott says a suspect in a bank robbery last month has been arrested.

Joshua Green, 21, has been charged with armed robbery and one count of kidnapping.

According to investigators, on Wednesday, May 29, deputies responded to the TD Bank on Two Notch Road in reference to a robbery in progress.

When they arrived, deputies met with employees of the bank and learned that an unknown suspect had robbed the bank minutes before their arrival and taken several hundred dollars in cash.

Authorities arrested Green at his home on Helton Drive on Tuesday.

He’s being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
