Fairfield County deputies warn about edibles disguised as candy
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Fairfield County deputies are issuing a warning to parents.
One deputy discovered multiple packages containing cannabis products during a traffic stop.
Deputies say these products were packages to look similar to Sour Patch Kids candy which is popular with children and easily found in stores.
According to deputies, there have been several instances where children have mistakenly consumed these cannabis products and have become seriously ill.
