UPDATE: Missing Sumter woman with dementia found safe

Sumter, SC (WOLO) — Sumter Police say a missing woman with dementia has been found safe.

Authorities say family members reported 72 year old Barbara Muldrow of Thomas Drive missing on Thursday.

According to investigators, Muldrow was last seen by family members on Thursday afternoon after she told them she was going to visit family in Sumter, but according to them, she never arrived.

Early Friday morning, police say Muldrow was found safely in Charleston.
