Road at Devine Street and Holly Street reopened, says city officials

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The intersection of Devine St. and Holly St. is back open after a fallen tree caused traffic lights to be compromised and damaged, says the city.
Devine Street and Holly Street was closed for one block in each direction but traffic flow is now back to normal.
The City of Columbia says a contractor replaced the downed poles and traffic engineering has reset the signalization.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Public Works is currently working with a contractor to re-open the intersection of Devine Street and Holly Street after a tree fell in the area, says the City of Columbia.
Fallen tree caused traffic lights to be damaged and compromised. Devine Street and Holly Street are currently closed one block in each direction.
Motorists should find an alternative route and follow Columbia Police Department traffic control. The city says a contractor will be replacing the downed poles and traffic engineering will reset the signalization.
City officials expect roads to be re-open at 6 p.m. tonight.
