SCDOT to temporarily close Valley Ridge Road Bridge at I-26 in Calhoun County
CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close the bridge on Valley Ridge Road at I-26 in Calhoun County beginning on June 17 to replace the bridge, says SCDOT.
The road will be closed for 14 months and is expected to be open by the Fall of 2025.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured using US-21, US-176 and Old Sandy Run Road.
The Department of Transportation says the Valley Ridge Road Bridge will be open to local traffic only during the closure, except for the area of the bridge.
