20-year-old man arrested in connection with murder of 46-year-old man

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder of a 46-year-old man, says RCSD.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department says Raheem Deangelo Jackson is accused of the murder of a 46-year-old man that occurred in the early morning of Wednesday, June 12, at the 7200 block of Fairmont Road.
The investigation revealed that the shooting was as a result of a towing company repossessing a vehicle, says the sheriff’s department.
Jackson is charged with one count of murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime and he was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
The investigation is still ongoing. RCSD is asking that anyone who may have been there or has any information about the shooting to contact the Sheriff’s Department or CrimeStoppers.
