Local Living: Juneteenth Freedom Festival, Nova Festival, Reggaetronic Lake Murray Music Festival

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, the 8th annual Juneteenth Freedom Festival kicks off this Saturday.

The event is from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dutch Square Mall. You can enjoy live music, food, activities for the kids, a job fair and much more.

It is all free to attend.

 

Sally R. Brasley Foundation is hosting its 2nd Nova Festival this Friday. The festival starts at 11 a.m. at 2018B Main Street.

There will be food trucks, rides for the kids, bounce houses, and surprise celebrity guest performances.

Also, the Juneteenth Parade will come down Sumter Street and end at the Nova Fest. Admission is free.

 

The 11th annual Reggaetronic Lake Murray Music Festival kicks off this Saturday on Spence Island, from 11 a.m. until 7:15 p.m.

Take your boat out for a fun day on the water while listening to music from various genres including modern reggae, funk, rock, and electronic.

All donations will benefit the Shriners Children’s Hospital. It is free to attend.
