Officer taken to hospital after being stabbed by inmate, says dept. of corrections

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Broad River Correctional Institute officer has been taken to a local hospital after being stabbed.

According to the South Carolina Department of Corrections, the officer was stabbed in the head by an inmate on Thursday morning.
