Gas prices cheaper than 2 year ago

(CNN)– Gas prices are cheaper than last Summer and miles away from where they peaked two years ago.

AAA says the national average for regular gas stove at $3.46 a gallon on Thursday. That’s down a $1.56 from the national record of $5.02 set in June of 2022.

It’s also down 13 cents from this point last year. In South Carolina, the average price is $3.11 a gallon.
