Local Living: Black Eats Week 803, Free Juneteenth admission at CMA, Friday Night Laser Lights

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, “Black Eats Week 803” kicks off on Monday, June 17, to celebrate Black-owned restaurants in the Midlands.

Now through Sunday, you can take advantage of several deals from restaurants like Mr. Seafood, Rebel Dogs and many more.

 

The Columbia Museum of Art is offering free admission in honor of Juneteenth.

You can enjoy a tour of Black Art and Exhibits at 1 p.m. and a jazz concert on Boyd Plaza from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

It all takes place this Wednesday on June 19.

 

Friday Night Laser Lights return to the state museum this week.

The first laser light show is on June 21, and will feature music from The Eagles, Elton John, The Beatles, and Fleetwood Mac.

There will be food from local food trucks and a cash bar. Tickets are $10 for members and $12 for the general public.
