Woman receiving care after being found safe, says Sumter Police

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police Department is searching for a missing 32-year-old woman, say officers.

Sumter PD says Latia “Lalou” Stewart was receiving medical attention at a Newberry Avenue location when she ran away from the area.

Stewart is described as 5 feet, 5 inches, and weighs about 135 pounds.

She was wearing a gray fitted dress with a cartoon “tweety bird” on the front of the dress.

Anyone who has seen her is asked to call 911,  or call the Sumter Police Department at 803-436-2700.
