Columbia Police investigating fatal collision involving motorcycle, pick-up truck

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– CPD’s Southeast Region & Traffic Safety Unit officers are investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a pick-up truck, say police.
Shortly before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, Columbia Police responded to a collision near the intersection of Fort Jackson Blvd. and Wildcat Road.
Investigators say the male rider was pronounced dead near the intersection of Fort Jackson Blvd. & Wildcat Road.
According to Coroner Naida Rutherford, the victim was identified as Ramey Reddie Jr., 51, of Columbia, SC.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
