KSCO: 84-year-old woman, nephew recovering after stabbing

KERSHAW CO., S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw Co. deputies say an 84 year old woman is accused of stabbing her nephew.

Investigators say it happened at 5:30 Wednesday morning on Baron Dekalb Rd.
The stabbing prompted a search including k-9s, drones, and a SLED helicopter, but deputies say the woman was taken into custody around 8:30am.
As of the most recent update, deputies say neither the woman nor her nephew has been charged in the incident but they are both being treated for injuries in separate hospitals.
Deputies say the investigation into this matter is not complete.
