Local Living: Black Eats Week 803, Cola Fire to host free community open house, Dam Boat Run

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, you can enjoy “Black Eats Week 803” to celebrate Black owned restaurants in the Midlands.
Now through Sunday, you can take advantage of several deals from restaurants like Mr. Seafood, Rebel Dogs, and many more.
The Columbia-Richland Fire Department is hosting a free community open house this Friday.
It’s from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at their headquarters on Laurel Street.
The event will feature games, music, food and more.
You’re encouraged to bring a donation for a teen living with Sickle Cell Anemia.
Some of the fastest boats will meet on Lake Murray to support three great caused this weekend.
The 2nd annual Dam Boat Run takes place on Friday through Sunday at the Lake Murray Marina in Ballentine.
This year’s proceeds will go directly to the Big Red Barn, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and Camp Discovery.
ABC Columbia’s Tyler Ryan will emcee on Saturday.
