Firefighters respond to detached garage fully engulfed

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters responded to a report of a late night fire on Saturday night, says KCFS.
Just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, KCFS, Camden FD, and KCEMS were dispatched to the area of Black Locust Lane in Camden for a structure fire, say fire officials.
When firefighters arrived to the scene they found a detached garage that was fully involved that was threatening a home.
They worked quickly to control the fire and to protect the exposure, says the Kershaw County Fire Service.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
