Lexington Police to conduct public safety checkpoints

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Police Department will be conducting multiple public safety checkpoints on Tuesday, says LPD.

Checkpoints will take place on Tuesday, June 25, within the Town of Lexington in response to collision incidents and citizen traffic complaints.

Also, the checkpoints are occurring to focus on speeding and unsafe driving practices in areas in the town.
