COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Pick 4 winners in the Midlands are celebrating lucky 4s with a $4.7 million payout, says SC Lottery officials.

For the second time, 4 – 4 – 4 – 4 was drawn by the South Carolina Education Lottery Tuesday evening.

More than 2,300 winning plays won with 4 – 4 – 4 – 4, Fireball: 4 in the Tuesday evening, June 25, drawing which resulted in a Pick 4 prize payout of more than $4.7 million.

Lottery officials say depending on the price paid for the ticket, the Pick 4 straight play winners won either $2,500 or $5,000.

And those who purchased a Fireball ticket won $2,700 or $5,400 more. Winners can either claim their prize by mail or go to the Lottery’s Claims Center in Columbia.

Because of the large number of winners, visitors at the claims center should expect a long wait on Wednesday and delays for the rest of the week.

Updates on wait times will be posted at sceducationlottery.com and on the lottery’s social media channels. The odds of winning a Pick 4 with a straight play are 1 in 10,000.
