Third shift crews respond to house fire on Richcreek Road, says CRFD

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Third shift crews responded to a house fire and was able to quickly get it under control, says CRFD.

Columbia-Richland Fire Department says heavy fire and smoke were coming from the front of a Richcreek Road house shortly after 2:20 p.m.

Crews established a water supply, entered the home and got the fire under control  Firefighters say the home did suffer significant interior damages.

No one was injured but two people have been left displaced. The Richland County Fire Marshal’s Office is looking into the cause of the fire.
