SLED charges Richland County woman with fraud
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is charging a 29-year-old woman with fraud, says SLED.
Courtney Shama Thomas, 29, is being charged with fraudulent application for a driver’s license, and financial identity fraud on Wednesday, June 19.
Agents believe Thomas used someone’s personal information to receive a South Carolina driver’s license in November 2022, which would have assisted in accessing the financial resources of the victim.
She was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center in Richland County.
