Clemson University freezes in-state tuition for fifth consecutive year
(WCIV) — Clemson University trustees have approved an in-state tuition freeze for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Tuition for all in-state undergraduate students will freeze for the fifth year in a row, according to Clemson University.
The Board of Trustees at Clemson University met Thursday to approve recommendations from the administration on tuition and fees.
“On behalf of the entire Board, I want to extend a heartfelt thanks to Governor Henry McMaster and the entire South Carolina General Assembly for their incredible commitment to Clemson University,” said Board Chair Kim Wilkerson.
“Their continued commitment allows us to help meet the needs of our students, continue meeting the vision of our founder, Thomas Green Clemson, and look toward the future as we elevate Clemson University to new heights.”
The Board of Trustees also approved a 3.5 percent increase in out-of-state tuition, only the second increase for non-resident students in the past five years.
