Forest Acres police requesting public’s help finding missing man with dementia

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– Forest Acres police is requesting the public’s help finding a missing man with dementia, says police.
Officers say 67-year-old Leon Canzater was last seen wearing a red shirt and gray pajama pants.
Canzater is considered an endangered missing person, and has dementia.
Forest Acres Police Department says he was reported as missing around 11:30 a.m. near his home on Lakeland Drive.
Lakeland Drive is near Pine Belt and Two Notch and not far from the Heyward Career and Technology Center.
FAPD is calling in SLED and RCSD for assistance and air support. Also the community is ask to be on alert and keep an eye out for Canzater.
