U.S. employers want more part-time workers

(CNN)– There are new signs that U.S. businesses are looking to hire more part-time workers than full-time workers.

A recent study of millions of postings on the job site ‘Indeed’ revealed the demand for full-time workers has been flat since January of 2022.

In addition, new labor department data shows the level of part-time employment was up nearly 9% in the same time period.
