Prosperity Police investigating after car hit by train

PROSPERITY, S.C. (WOLO)– Prosperity Police Department is investigating after a car was struck by a train on Pine Street on Tuesday, July 2.

Around 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, the police department made a post about the collision on Facebook.

McNeary Street / SC391 at the railroad track was closed down due to the collision but opened back up after the scene was cleared.

No injuries were reported.
