Fourth of July tips for protecting your pets with fear of fireworks
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Of course not everyone loves fireworks, in particular our four-legged friends.
According to the American Humane Society, fireworks can cause pets to run away from home, or even have stress-related health issues.
Officials say if you do have a pet and plan on shooting off fireworks, make sure to keep the animals a safe distance from the display.
Also, make sure your pet has proper identification in the event they run away.
