Woman arrested after shooting man during domestic violence incident, say deputies

According to Clarendon County deputies, 27-year-old Carrie Woodberry is accused of shooting 28-year-old Abram Walker Jr.

CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies arrested a woman for a fatal shooting on Tuesday, say Clarendon County deputies.

According to Clarendon County deputies, 27-year-old Carrie Woodberry and 28-year-old Abram Walker Jr., were in a domestic violence incident at the Quality Inn on Paxville Highway when Woodberry shot and killed Walker.

She was taken to the Clarendon County Detention Center, where she is awaiting charges.

The incident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office at 803-435-4414 and ask for the investigations division.
