Man arrested on multiple drug charges, say deputies
CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Clarendon County deputies have arrested a man on multiple drug charges, says the sheriff’s office.
Deputies say after an arrest warrant was issued for Jacquba Green, he was pulled over for a traffic stop while driving a camouflage golf cart on Washington Street in the Summerton area.
Green tried to run away, but he later was caught, says the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Department.
At the scene, deputies recovered a quantity of suspected cocaine along with money.
The sheriff office conducted a search warrant at Green’s home and found marijuana, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, morphine tablets, and a total of $22, 544 in U.S. currency.
He was taken to the Clarendon County Detention Center.
