SCHP: One dead after late night collision in Orangeburg County

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A motorcyclist is dead after a late night collision in Orangeburg County on Saturday, said SCHP.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol on Saturday, July 6, the motorcyclist was traveling south on US-301 near Short Avenue around 10 p.m. when the rider ran off the road to the left and hit a fence.

The collision remains under investigation by the SCHP.
