Fairfield County deputies asking for public’s help identifying attempted armed robbery suspect
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Fairfield County deputies are asking for the public’s help identifying an attempted armed robbery suspect, said deputies.
Investigators said on Friday, July 5, a masked person entered the Dollar General store located on Newberry Road at Salem Crossroads in the Blair community with a handgun demanding money.
During the attempted robbery the person hit the cashier with the handgun and then left the store.
The incident and images of the person were captured on video, said the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office.
