Bond denied for teen accused in RCSD deputy drive-by shooting
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Bond has been denied for one teen accused in a drive-by shooting that injured a Richland County deputy and his then fiancee last year.
18-year-old Damarrious Rodgers and three other teens are charged with 8 counts of attempted murder and possessing a weapon during a violent crime.
In August of last year, investigators say Corporal Terrance Crawford and his fiancé who is now his wife were shot at their home on Crusader Court.
Sheriff Leon Lott said Crawford’s stepson was the intended target, as he was involved in a feud with the suspects.
Rodgers is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
